Default numbers stamped on a rim for the late 50s corvette

hello is there letters or numbers stamped on the rims of the late 50s corvette?? If there is what would they be ,thanks!!

Yes. Photo below shows a '56 wheel with the rim size and cross-section, productlon date, Kelsey-Hayes logo, and the Tire & Rim Association logo; similar stampings continued well into the 80's.

John I have a wheel fetish. Is this May '56 wheel riveted or fuse welded with dog bones.

I betting on the later as I haven't come across a riveted '56 dated wheel so far.

From my Dec. '58 assembled 1959: Wheel is dated 12 58

Dunno - that's the only photo I have of that wheel.

Are your Dec 58 wheels welded with dog bones or without?

I suspect they have dog bones.

Yes - you have to remove the tire to see them.
