Default Who has the best carburetor kits.

Does Daytona located in Florida have the best AFB carburetor kits as far as fit and quality.

Without a doubt, their kits have improved float designs are ethanol resistant and the gaskets are properly formed. NAPA's Echlin kits are the next best IMO.

I just exchanged emails with Daytona earlier this week.....got a quote for them to rebuild and restore my original '65 Carb......$250 plus shipping cost to return it to me. They do great work.....check out the two carbs from my '41 Buick that I had them do a few years ago.....like works of art when they were returned to me. It has been 26 years since the carb was rebuilt in the restoration so I guess its due and smooth running would benefit.

$250 sounds expensive to me since all they do is clean it and put a kit in. They do not do plating anymore..
