Doesn't get much more obvious than this:

"1962 Chevrolet Corvette was dramatically updated. With the elimination of two-tone paint and trim surrounding"

Not that you are interested, but NOPA stands for North of the Panhandle, a somewhat obscure San Francisco neighborhood. It is just north of the eastern edge of the Golden Gate Park. But, the price, "dramatic" ad copy and lack of description does raise a red flag. But then again, the PO of my car told me it had a 326 (he was wrong). A NOM SBC is one thing, but a Pontiac motor is another.

all the non-62 C1 owners and even the SWC owners are envious of the 'uniqueness' of our 62s......

The guy writing these adds is laughing all the way to the bank. The 63 posted above has been on CL for months, the 62 just popped up and is all over. he gets you to send some cash to hold the car. You say to yourself , I just found the deal of a life time. You send him the cash and he is a happy camper. Just hit the prohibited when you see these adds and when they get enough hits CL will flag them. Its a gold mine for the scammers.

I really don't feel sorry for people who thinks they are getting one over on someone and then find out they are the suckers.

Its not that they are getting over, I think its a chance in a life time dream. Its like the guy selling Tvs out of the back of his car. You go home and find a box of bricks. Its human nature to try to get the best deal. When selling a car everyone starts high. If you really want 45k you start at 50k. When he asks will you take 45k, you sit and say OK and you both walk away happy. Its using common sense while doing this.

If enough people who thought they were getting something for nothing were educated by neighbors, family, and friends that such is never the case our country would be in great shape.

I agree, some people are street smart, some people are book smart. Some are both.
