Default Virginia Vettes

Being fairly new to owning my 65 coupe, i don't post very often. Compared to the wealth of knowledge found here I never felt like I had much to offer. I have however learned an incredible amount of information about my car by following along silently and for that I thank all who post on a regular basis. Having said that, I felt compelled to post tonight to share a recent experience. I recently bought a set of DBKO wheels from Dick at Virginia Vettes. Many of you I'm sure have dealt with Dick and know what a stand up guy he is. For those of you who haven't, I assure you that you will be hard pressed to find a more helpful vendor anywhere. His affordable prices are only outdone by his great service. I would encourage anyone to give him a try.....you won't be disappointed!!

Dealt with Virginia Vettes for several years while building my 63. Always pleasant and reasonable on parts both used and new.

As we say, if you don't deal with Virginia Vettes you don't know Dick.

I too have dealt with Dick Barron at Virginia Vettes for years and have nothing but good to say about him. He's always helpful, great to deal with and has some great prices.

Your kind thoughts are very humbling. Growing up with a rotary phone, black and white TV with aluminum foil on the rabbit ears and listening to FM radio creates a foundation of caring for others and their needs,. Not always perfect but trying to do what is right and putting the customer first has been our guiding light.
The first 46 years at this have allowed me to meet some outstanding individuals that has shaped me for what I am
Thank you for allowing me to participate in your restoration.
Sincerely,
Dick Barron

Indeed, I have the famous "VV" in magic marker on the back of my rechromed C1 and C2 bumpers.

I assume that's Dick's plater's moniker for "Virgina Vettes"...

I too have high praise for Dick. I bought my wheels from him and one of the spinners had an issue. "no problem, return it when you receive the new one". GREAT customer service!

My VV experience also . Two spinners had an issue. One spinner was borderline ok. It was sent back as well... No problem with tbe exchange. The bolt on KO wheels were flawless.

Default Virginia Vetts

I was in Dicks garage this morning. I have known him since 1996 when I moved into the same neighborhood. He has helped me many times finding that hard to get part. Our hobby is very lucky to have him be a part of it.
