Default 560 code question

Just pulled the gas tank cover off my 62 to do some fuel line work and noticed the number 560 handwritten on the underside of the cover.
I can't find any option numbered "560" and am therefore wondering what this might represent.
Any ideas guys?

I beleive they call it the job number. Day or week, not sure but it helped keep things together. Mine was 229, inside one door and under the dash cluster also in the trunk.
Hpe this helps.

John's article applies to C-2's and C-3's. I'm not sure that numbering system was applicable to C-1's.
