I would think that almost anybody in need of one would probably pay $150- $200 for a nice one. This is basically the only part that was different from the passenger car PG. The bad news is that there are not that many people looking for early C1 PG parts. almost everyone is busy turning their car into a 4 speed car. If you find someone looking to put a cast iron PG back in a C1, they will have to have this part, but finding that person, may take a while!

Help us out. Is this the tailhousing with the three mounting bosses for the shifter, or the one with no shifter mounting bosses?

If you're thinking of selling it, I'd be interested. Sent PM

For a Tailshaft housing? I would think that that is about what a complete correct Cast Iron Corvette PG transmission should cost.

You're right, I just checked, I paid $700 for a 3727024, not the same casting that the OP is selling. Sorry.

...and yeah I paid about the same for a correct casting and date coded PG too, without the tailhousing.

I have sold two of these Corvette PG tail housings in the $400 each range.

But that was back when people were restoring their cars to original condition.

I have identified the Corvette unique parts and estimated values on this photo

Detents for the '56 shifter are unique? '56 only?

Yes, a 56 shifter is a one year only part.
