Default New Hobby Lobby in our area

While waiting for the Mrs. doing the Publix shopping, and with Hobby Lobby next door, I spent some time looking around. There are a lot of car-related items on the shelves, and surprisingly, Corvette-specific stuff at that! Here's a small sample:

Nice!

Disappointingly, the one closest to me - Morgan Hill CA - doesn't seem to carry much car related stuff.

I'll turn in my man card...........

I like to go to Hobby Lobby. As the OP stated, they have lots of car related decor items like metal signs, posters, model cars, etc. etc.

They also have a great selection of air brushes.

I have two near me.... one in Ocala, the other in Brooksville/Spring Hill Florida.

If Frankie can break away from his favorite place, Ikea, he should check that place out!

Our local pottery place had some old Corvette car signs....mostly tin. One even had a head-on view of a '61 that looked like mine - but the prices ? Whew - like $160 or something wild.

IKEA can 'unman' the best of us....women will lead you unknowingly into the bowels of the store where a man's usually infallible sense of direction is thwarted and the tightly-packed, chaotic display of brightly colored furniture of weird foreign design confounds our internal GPS. There is no cell phone service so first responders can't save you.

Women will not lead you out of there to safety until you commit to buy some of the strange Swedish furniture and agree to put it together at home; which takes a significant portion of your lifetime.

Last time I was in IKEA I whined like a whipped dog so badly the wife threatened to, "....stomp a snot bubble" out of me if I didn't straighten up.

It took three visits to Bass Pro before I felt like a man again

We have a Hobby Lobby here in Mt. Dora, FL. I've bought some car signs there. In fact, I'm going there today to see if they have any new stuff.

We don't have an Ikea and after reading Frankie's testimonial, I think that's a good thing. It's going to take the rest of the day to get those nightmare images out of my head so I can sleep tonight.

Same for me when our first Daughter went off to college. OMG what a whip and it's pretty much a never ending maze like a corn field...... I was finding my way out at one point and one of the girls almost tackled me right around display 1,234,195 I think it was. Handcuffs and shackles appeared from a purse and I behaved much better after that episode.

Every other 2 weeks they offer 50% off the garage stuff. I've seen many vendors at shows and swap meets resell these at 4-5 times the price. One guy paid $30 for one that the Lobby charges $6 for. Another guy was behind him asking if he had any more.

Hobby Lobby also carries "Rub & Buff" in both silver and gold.
The silver is great for freshening up cad plated parts.
Perfect on my 65 gas cap.

The sad part of all that cool automotive AMERICANA memorabilia is it's all MADE IN CHINA. But, that's why it's cheap.

Yep, the very same one.

I think he has an executive membership there.
