426 Hemi,

In the non-mechanic world, I do get some quizzical looks. Pretty funny when you see those folks start to smile, recognizing the firing order of Chevys & Pontiacs. Got me to thinking about Mopars, do they share this same order (I know Fords are 1 8 7 3 6 5 4 2)?

Here's a phone pic of my '62 just before it went into storage for the winter last fall.

VERY nice - of course, I'm just a bit prejudiced . . .

Default Hard top on the 62

Paul, I put the HT on the 62 yesterday, first time since April. This year will be the first for bringing the 62 to Cape Coral. We will probably go down in January and come back in April. This will be a new adventure for us since Sandy is just now talking about retiring. The only issue I have now is finding a place to store the enclosed trailer, can't keep in the yard at my place.

Hi Pat, My wife just retired last year so now we can travel together. We will be on Pine Island for the month of January, right near you. We have a 2 car garage if you would like to put the Vette in there. I won't feel so deprived if there is a fuelie in the garage while I'm there Can't help you with the trailer though.

Paul, I have a 2 car garage at my CC house and we (the family) also owns a rental on Pine Island (2782 York Road, St James City) so the Vette will be fine. I just have to find a parking spot for the trailer. I'm sure with all the RV's there for the season something will show up.

My '64 came with both tops.First time I had the hardtop off, I saw how much trunk space I was losing to the folded soft top. Out it came, sold it a few months later! Have never felt the need for one in 50 years!
