I can't imagine how nice the other cars had to have been for your fine-looking '60 to not win. Beautiful car.

I like your '63 Galaxie, too. Very like the one my Dad bought new - his first new car purchase ever.

Jack,

There were actually 7 C1's there, as I didn't arrive until about 9:15 or so. Mine was the white 58 parked near the winner's circle.

Car looks awesome.....need sunglasses bright!
I have a disc brake conversion on my 60 as well, bought it from Corvette Central manufactured by "masterbrake" came with a dual master and proportioning valve, fits perfect with the stock wheels., it makes an awesome addition.

Hey Dub, John Kraman from Mecum auctions was real impressed with Belgies car. That's coming from a guy who sees a lot of nice cars.

I sure was, and Belgie got best C3. He was telling the guy from Mechum that you did most of the work on it.

It was part of the trade, but it has a lot of issues. I swapped it back to the guy for the 63 Galaxie.

Thanks. That is nice to hear that people appreciate the effort put into Belgies 1970 Corvette. But like I always say...as long as the owner loves it...That is all that matters and I did my job well.

Thanks

Belgie came by after the show to show me how the car did. I have to say it did make me feel really good. But like I tell Belgie and other people. It is not all about ME....because if he did not want to do it in the manner he did....then it would have not turned out as well as it did. I was just the lucky guy who made his 'vision' a reality. His Corvette is a good example of not trying to have a 'budget' get in the way of how you want it.

Sorry I missed the show. I will be there next time...that is for sure.

And Jack...it is obvious and goes without 'saying'...but I will 'say' it anyway.....your car is a 'cream puff'! VERY VERY NICE!
