'63 Park lights question
I noticed that when my headlights were on, my park lights were off. They come on normally when the switch is pulled, then off as the headlights are switched on...are they normally off when headlights are on?

Yup, that is how they are designed to function on 63-7 Corvettes.

Because in those days, they indicated you were "parked" and didn't want to get run over.

It's in your owner's manual, in your glovebox.

No, he got the sport coupe model. Quite high up the food chain. Easily in the upper half at least. Very near the top, especially if a fuelie.

As noted they go off when the headlights are turned on.
Some people have them wired so they stay on when the headlights are on.
I think it is a good safety improvement.
