C2 side exhaust
I'm strongly considering purchasing a set of Allen's Superquiet side pipes for my 65 big block. Is there anyone on here that has installed these pipes on a C2 bigblock? How did you like the sound? Are they more restrictive or less restrictive than stock side pipes?

I just installed a set on m 327, I know it's not a bb but I do like the sound. For the little I have driven it it does seem to quiet down at a constant speed, then bark when you stab it.

I just installed a set of Allens Ultra Quiet side pipes on my mild 327. I haven't noticed any different in restriction than my stock side pipes...but I don't usually rev over 4500.....they are a little quieter than stock ones at idle and at highway speeds. Overall I don't see any restriction difference. hope this helps....Norm

Installed them on my 66 BB about a month ago. I did not notice much of a restriction. I think the advertising for these pipes is a little deceptive, if you are looking for "super quiet" you won't be getting it from these pipes.
The pipes are a little quieter at start up and cruising but not much more than the stock ones.
