N11 exaust
My next upgrade is to replace the rusted exaust on my 327/350hp 67 roadster. It goes from 2" to 2.5". I want to buy a complete system, who's system should I buy. Thanks Ian

Gosh,
there have been so many previous threads on that subject you can't count them all.
here is just one:

Everyone has their opinion. Corvette central, Gardner,
If you enter N11 Exhaust in the search box you will get enough returns from previous threads you will have your answer by the time you finish reading half of them.

After doing many searches and reading and hearing everybody's Exaust sounds, Gardner seams really good made in America, whose there's and is it worth twice the price of everyone else's. Ian

Gardner Exaust arrived, now for the install. Wondering is it best to raze car from the wheels, a ramp, or lifting the frame and using jack stands. Ian

I would put it up as high as possible via the wheels. Be that on ramps or ? Dennis

I am in process of doing this currently on my floor in garage. For removal of old I soaked bolts for days with PB and all came out fine. I purchased new metal grinder disc 4 1/2 . Sliced 1 in inch grove in exhaust. Then used carbide metal saw sall blade and got system out quickly. I am now cleaning up manifolds and then will bolt on new N11 system

Made four of these today, to get the Vette up on its wheels, 28. Bucks for 2. 4"x6"x8' pine had the 3/4" ply. I have seen these used in YouTube videos, going to put jack stands under just in case. Ian

i am using 4 jack stands with a spare jack and tire for safety. The wood chocks you made are brilliant. Are you going to install from front to back. Meaning exhaust manifolds first . Front pipe second. Then rear pipes last? Or connect rear and front first then hook up flanges then mufflers

My two cents... My '63 was on jack stands, solid and secure. I connected the pipes from the manifolds first then slid in the muffler and attached pipes from the rear. I tied the pipes up (with zip ties) as high as I could get them, near the rear spring, then fit the rear exhaust fiberglass panel to check the fit-then connected the muffler hangers. Once I was happy, I secured the central hanger and snugged the three nuts each side of exhaust manifold. Mine were two piece N11's from Corvette Central. It was far easier than I could have hoped. Don't forget the ground straps at the middle hanger. Installed the new heat shields last.
