Default LS3 vs. BBC

Assuming both have aluminum heads, similar internals and intake, how much heavier is an iron block BBC over the aluminum block LS3 (with 525HP)?

Weights out there vary a bit , but the average seem to be high 600's for normal BBC and close to 600 even for the alum headed versions.

Bare LS3 is close to 400, but 450 is often quoted for complete engines.

Even changing my 327 to LS3 lifted the front of the car at least 1/2" on stock springs.
