I'm not sure your question is clear. Do you need measurements for the BOLTS, or, for the location of the bolt HOLES???

I suggest you put the hardtop on the car and mark the hole locations.
I have found that all hardtops are not always interchangeable.

That's what I did. My car was never drilled for one so I mounted the hardtop, marked the locations, removed it and drilled the holes and mounted the hardware. Reinstalled top and it lined up perfectly.

From what I have seen there are 2 or more problems that can contribute to poor hardtop fit.

First, if a hardtop is stored improperly it will change shape and the side hold downs will spread not necessarily evenly so that can be a problem.
Also depending on the year, the rear bolt location can move.

The second problem is the fit of the windshield (C1) to the body. If a hardtop is not used to test the placement of the windshield it can really screw things up.

On an existing hardtop car the adjustment of the deck lid can also have a small effect.

I have had at least 3 C1 cars where the hardtop fit was a problem.

Good luck.

I agree with you, Bruce, but in my experience the fiberglass has a memory of its original shape and will return to it if given a chance.

Anecdotal evidence:

The hardtop for my '63 was stored improperly for 20+ years. When finally re-installed, there was a 3/8" gap above the vent window frames due to distortion of the fiberglass.

Withing two weeks of being back on the car, however, that gap disappeared and the top once again fit perfectly.

I am going to try 1 more time. can someone please give me the measurements for the 3 holes that bolt down hardtop 1960 corvette. I know they are not all the same but I would just like to have them from someone that has a hardtop that has been mounted on their car and taken it off front, back ,side from edge of deck lid Thanks,Mike

From what I can interpret from your posts, you don't have a complete hardtop ready to bolt on yet, but you want to drill the mounting holes. If I am correct in my interpretation, I would recommend finishing the hardtop restoration, and then doing what 59 BlueSilver said. It will fit for sure because it will be the top you are using on your car.

I agree with GTOguy and 59bluesilver do not fit and drill holes until you have a finished hardtop to put on the car.

No I simply want to mark holes on my deck, then set my bent bow on deck to see how far off it is .I have no plans to drill holes til my top is finished. everyone just seems to think I want the measurements to drill holes,Not the case Thanks again,Mike PS I just need a rough Idea didn't think it would be so tough to get an answer
