fair value for my 1965 L76 Coupe?
Hello
Considering selling my 65 coupe and looking for advice on a fair price.
I know it's only worth why a buying is willing to pay for, but still, wanted to gauge what would be a reasonable price.
Thanks!

- L76 365hp, 4 speed
- Side pipes, original K/O wheels, power windows, teak wheel
- All original, in showroom condition
- Brand new paint (in original Glen Green)
Thanks!

Beautiful 65 I am partial to Glen Green 65's. That solid lifter motor is a great engine. If it's as original and correct as I think it is, low 60's is a fair asking price. Purists may prefer gold lines, black walls or even white walls (but I'm knit picking). It just presents better when selling.
Why are you parting with such a beautiful coupe?

Every time i take it for a spin, it puts a huge smile on my face but at the same time it's somewhat stressful to drive...
Agree on the tires, I do have original gold ply tires as spare, to show the car. But I like the slightly wider and radial tires better ;-)
Tan interior indeed.

Yours is the coupe version of mine, but I lack the Pwr windows. I recall when you bought it, and how I thought what a score you made on that car. It is a cream puff for sure.
I would look to get $65 for it as she sits. Worth every penny.
good luck

if she really is showroom condition 65k seems to be pretty reasonable if you ask me
Edit:
I now see it has original knock offs than 65k is very reasonable

+1, but I would hold out for more with a car in that condition and the original KOs. Good luck!

I think that's the problem with having a near perfect car.....you're stressed out every time you take it out in traffic. I felt much better using it on the roads after the first self inflicted scratch I put on it, despite the colorful language and flying tools!
What a beauty though. I'd be asking 70K and sticking to it.

In the current market, in the midst of a holiday season; I'm thinking $70K.
Frankly, I'd put the gold line tires on it and hold out until early spring when "Corvette fever" strikes a bunch of folks...
I understand the stressful driving aspect. The Disney area of Florida has become a goddanged zoo now and I find myself driving my split window less and less...

Don't Sell !!!! I went close to four years without driving my '66 at one point in my life because there was no time. If finances is not driving your decision just leave it in the garage under a cover for awhile and when you realize you shouldn't have sold it you'll be happy to see it sitting there. These cars can sit for long periods of time and then with the turn of a key come roaring to life. KEEP IT. It's a PERFECT beautiful piece of American history. Just my 2cents.
