you can ask want you want for things, then there is reality of what someone is willing to pay for it.

Overpriced and no mention of documentation.

Amen. Without documentation, it's nothing special except for the price.

You can ask a million bucks for it but try to get it could be the problem.

"Provenance and Certificate of Authentication" tacks on an extra 150K.

Price may reflect the rarity of the M22 transmission in 1966. 1 of only 15 cars in that year. There were more M22s in '65 than '66.

I have no idea if it is a real M22 car.

That's a lotta dough for a yellow car with a white top I don't care how rare its knibbling pins are.

No harm in dreaming big. They said Trump couldn't win!

Check out www.mockauto.com. Bill's asking about 700K for Neil Armstrong's '67, and 1.4 million for the first 396.

By looking at his prices I think his inventory remains very static.

Yes, it does remain very stable - probably as in for decades. I looked at a car he had for sale in the 70s and it's probably still there. But he has come up with some rare cars over the years.

Auction prices have been flat to down.

Right now the big money is going for original cars with locked down provenance. A car with no provenance will just be one more car run across the block. A hobby car.

Only thing that I see for a option that is very rare is the M-22 if he has REAL paperwork.

The wife's been bugging him to sell one of his cars, so he chose this one!

"Honey I'm sure the car will sell any day now..."
