Default March issue CORVETTE MAG photo pg.53

Shows the assembly line and the first built '53. Behind it is the second and third. If this is accurate (why would it not be?) well, that #3 is right around the corner from me in its original survivor suit. Owner shows it at selected ALL Corvette shows and I've met him. Personally, I think it's a mess but I guess it's supposed to look like that. Pretty cool.

'53 #003 is a famous car, having gone through a total restoration some years back and selling at auction for $1M. Last I knew, it was owned by a car dealer with dealerships in NDak, Mont and ?

This could very well be as it was a number of years ago at a show that number #003 was displayed. If it was restored, I say good! it needed it

Wish the resolution was better on that publicity photo and we could zoom in and read what was on that sheet of paper on the windshield of #1.

Shoot, give it to one of those TV cop shows, they'll have some girl with weird hair and glasses scan it and you'll even be able to get the fingerprints of the guy who taped it on there!
