I saw a coupe in that combo in Hendricks private collection. It's very stunning in person

Lifestyle's of the rich and famous! Haven't checked my weekend lottery ticket yet ; )

That's gotta be one rare combo! Any idea what the rarest combo is for a 67 BB??

Did they do a silver on red BB combo in 67? Saw a picture of one which was another first for me! Was gorgeous!

Black on green would be the rarest. I have yet to see one. Black on blue is very rare. Any interior combo paired with black that isn't black interior or red is rare. Or white on green

This car has all the things that makes it a investment quality type car and is a eye catcher. I'm sure the top corvette collectors had this auction circled.

Truly a stunning car. I like the Black & Blue combo much more than the Black and Red. Though I do love the Silver & Black maybe the best, I'd love to have that Black & Blue 435.

How many black on red L71 cars were there? I always thought and have heard on here three..

I'm no expert.. but three is rare. I've seen more black and blue cars than I have black and red, factory proven.

Of course there are more black and red than left the factory. I'm not spouting for correctness, just from what I've read and seen on this forum.

Who knows..

Who knows what real numbers. In any case the selling price is just insane and it's one beautiful car I would love to own

There was a car like this one that sold several years ago and it was discussed on this forum. I believe it was bought by a fellow in NC. I suspect this is the same car.

You need two people with huge egos and even larger checkbooks to bring this sort of money.

with both of you. Collectors with deep deep pockets and egos to match.
Stunning car with the right combination of options to say the least. Just beautiful!

I know of a BLACK / GREEN vinyl 1965 fuel injection convertible. Original owner was a Marine Vietnam jet pilot. Not a 67, but still very different. Only black / green I have ever seen in any Corvette.
