eBay deals
Is it me or are some prices dropping ?
I just picked up a complete oil filter canister (with original internals) for C2s for $30...it needs nothing but cleaned up.
I snagged an original front bumper set of cores (with center bar) that turned out to be nice enough to put on a driver for $250...no dents, bracket welds are all good and captured nuts/bolt threads are perfect... Don't even know what I'll use them for but couldn't pass the deal up.
Now - if I can just find that '63 original dash clock for $200

It's you. Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug. I've got some screaming deals off of ebay, and some not-so-screaming. The key seems to be if it is not a needed item, it is always a bargain. If you have to have it, it's always top dollar.

You didn't say, but I suspect that it was a fixed price "buy it now" listing. I have gotten some nice deals on those where the seller doesn't know the real value or doesn't care and wants to get rid of it fast. These items tend to sell in the first few hours. I see far fewer good deals on the 7 to 30 day auction style listings where a large quantity of buyers see the item and lets the item's price climb nearer to the market value.
