1966 engine bay harness clips question:
restoring my 1966 convertible...car has new surround on the front end, and i'm wondering about the 2 "special clips" (pages F241 and 243 in '66 AIM) these are the 2 clips that are riveted in the hood gutter area...one on front l/h side for headlight harness and one on front r/h side for heater blower harness.
my question concerns the exact type of clip, and what style of rivet was used? does anyone have close up pictures? thanks a bunch, Rick

Couple of photos of my 66 driver's side "special clip" one of the rivet one of the clip. My car has TI so both harnesses are included in this clip

It was a standard J clip that was used though out the engine bay. Some cars used the roseit rivets found on vin tags. Other cars used standard pop rivets. And was installed before paint.
