1966 power brake booster
I've searched the forum and can't find anything addressing the push rod between the booster and the master cylinder. I disassembled the booster to get it plated and now I'm not sure which end of the rod goes in the booster. One end has two "O" rings and the other has a smooth end resembling a bullet. it seems the smooth end would go in the master cylinder, but I'm not sure. Can anyone HELP???
Thanks so much.

You don't/can't. The (unique) '63 model year booster has an adjustment end-fitting on the hydraulic-side of the push rod facing toward the m/cylinder; other midyears have no such feature.
The end of the push rod with the 2 o-rings fits into the booster's reaction retainer, per Velox posting.
