Whenever there is something posted I need to take into the garage while I'm working on my car, I just copy from the post and paste it into a Word document, increase the font size and print it.

If you're on a pc, hold the alt button and click on print screen button. That will capture the screen into the buffer. then open a blank word document, control v to paste. Scroll down on the page you want to capture, repeat. Once you have all the screen prints on the word doc, print word doc.

I agree with Bluestreak.

I do the same but paste it, or control V the doc directly into Microsoft Paint. Then it is very easy to crop out the stuff on the page that you really don't want to print.

Besides the Copy & Paste techniques mentioned... the Chrome browser has the ability to SAVE a page as a PDF file. Just go to the PRINT function and change the DESTINATION setting to SAVE AS PDF and note the location saved.

In addition, Google the FIRESHOT plugin for your browser (Firefox, Chrome, Opera or IE)... it is a FREE extension that will automatically create a PDF file of your desktop.

With each of the two methods mentioned above, you would need to create a PDF for each page. If you Copy & Paste into an MS Word document, you easily can add/delete any posts or pages.

Hope this helpz...

Even the best thread contains some extraneous and useless material. That is why I've found it easiest to review an entire thread using the cut and paste method to save only those parts that are needed for future reference. Pasting the saved portions into a documents folder allows future printing when convenient. Or course, pictures can be saved to the folder and printed as well.
