BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT, You can "cheat" if you REALLY want to go to all the trouble------------like I did (and this was fairly common way, way back in the day).
I used a pair of 1966 462 casting heads with 2.02/1.6 valves and modified them to look like 1957 539 heads.
The double humps were ground off, then pyramid symbols were shaped on the ends. Next, I had additional bosses welded, drilled and tapped for staggered bolt pattern valve covers. Yep, lots of work to just simply simulate a 57 FI head. Worth it to me for my FI SB400 in the 56 with an airbox.
