Default 60 sold for $5,900.

Just tell me I am getting to old to spot a good deal when I see it.

Who, who, who, would buy this for $6k.

Is number matching really worth that kind of money?

99 bids, too. You couldn't give that pile of scrap to me....too much work to try and pick the fly specs out of the pepper. Unbelievable.

I think we're talking about the car's identity value here. I suppose, if the VIN tag and trim tag didn't get fried and the engine is original, maybe, if you had another good car with no, (or questionable) docs, it might be worth it.

Absolutely. That's called 5900 for a tag and title.

What does a slightly-charred set of K/O spinners go for nowadays ?

Wow, I guess the last highest bidder decided not to pay. Last fall, it was auctioned on Ebay.

They also had a go fund me page on Bring A Trailer's facebook.

Seller said in his latest ad that the buyer last time on Ebay was not in the US, and shipping costs ended up being prohibitive.

$6K for a VIN tag, a bill of sale (no titles in GA for cars this old), with matching number frame and a correct engine and transmission and rear end. Not a bad deal.

Only if you think the title and V.I.N. tag (if it survived) are worth it. That heat fatiqued frame has lost all of it structural integrity.

I don't know... if the fire got to the right temperature and the frame was properly quenched...

If you bought a reassigned VIN car for 1/2 price, then for $5,900 you just doubled it's value.

Did you read that the fire melted the wheels? No chance that frame is still good.
