Melling oil filter adapter
Question, does the melling adaper require a gasket? What size and thread type are the two bolts. I am going from a horizontal filter to a vertical filter .

Welcome to the CF. Please tell us what you are working on and any other related info. Did you buy complete kit? If so, everything should be there. I have never heard of a Chevy V8 with horizontal filter.
