17" Orange Corvette steering wheel 3 spoke
You might be right. Having spent my life in the car business this one just didn't seem right. Everything I researched didn't show orange as a color. I will take a picture tomorrow when the light is better, thanks for everyone's help.

The 56-57 Venetian Red really was more orange than red. When I had my 56 painted (as best as we could tell, it was originally Venetian Red), the Venetian red was just too orange for my taste, so we went with 69-70 Monza Red.

I've noticed over the years that the early C1 red original wheels got bleached by the sun to an orange tone. Probably what you have there.....
