Are all 1964 corvettes considered turbo fire?
I'm looking to purchase new valve cover decals for my 64 but I'm not sure which ones are appropriate for my car. It has the standard 327 250 horse motor in it. For the decals, would the decals that say Chevrolet 327 turbo fire be appropriate or would I just used the ones that say 250 horsepower

250 was the base engine and didn't get a hp decal in the Corvette.
Don't forget the Turbo-Glide transmission. It was the only thing Chevy hung the turbo name on that remotely resembled a turbine.

Yes, the 327 turbo-fire decal would be accurate. The original ones were actually a very durable paper with adhesive backing. You can buy them now that are metal, which also have adhesive backing....but these are after market items. They look very nice, I have them on my '64. As mentioned, the 250's did not have and additional HP sticker. Larger HP cars had ones that were placed on the side of the valve cover.

This is what the decals on your valve cover should look like...
Without the 300 HORSEPOWER decal on the side of the valve cover.
Good luck... GUSTO
