Why not run a 3 disk small diameter clutch. Less inertia for quick shifts plus much higher torque capacity. Are you constrained by class rules?

Looks like your soft top is steadily becoming shredded wheat.

You need a bigger spoiler to keep the nose down as well as a Grand Sport hood to relieve more underhood pressure.

Best of luck in the Texas Mile!

No...it's still an IRS. It's a Dana 60 based on a NOS Hemi housing and made into an IRS. It's got 3.5"x.134" wall halfshafts with 1480 series U-joints. Tom's outer spindles.

Yes...a multi-disc race clutch would be good...but I'm sticking with the McLeod Soft-Lok for now. It's holding the power much better than I thought it would.

Yep...that 1/2 mile run took it's toll on the top. Seems that were just a little funky opened up. Using tape to hold it together until after the TX Mile. Then I'll make another shot at an 8 sec pass...THEN I'll clean it all up and replace the top for summer cruising.

People are probably saying...."Can't that boy afford a new top?"!!!
