Looks like we have a new oldest driving member (66racer) at the young age of 86. How cool. Keep driving the Corvettes and other toys you have and having fun. We all could be so lucky to be Corvette ing (if that is a word) at the age of 86 like 66racer is. My hat is off to you sir.

63 years young. 31 Corvettes over 46 years. All 7 generations. Had my 65 46 years. 35 years with my 61. Also have a new Z06 and a Dodge Viper GTS coupe. Probably driven several hundred thousand miles in Corvettes.
I'm out in Nevada right now attending the Ron Fellows High performance driving school flogging a new Z06 on the track. What a blast. Love to drive.

I'm 69 and have owned our '66 L79 coupe since March of 1977. First got into the Corvette hobby in summer of '72 after getting out of the Army in March of '72. Bought a '63 roadster that we subsequently traded for the '66. Nice thread to start.

(roccog) is our second oldest still Corvette Driving member at age 84 and (66racer) is still our oldest still driving Corvette Forum member at age 86, we all should be so lucky to be driving Corvettes at these ages. I salute you both .

I'm 70 and I still not only still drive my 65, but I do most of the work on it. Every year I'm finding it harder and harder to get up off the garage floor.

Best thing for getting off the floor is put your car up on a car lift or just don't get down on the floor. Ha Ha ha. It does get harder as we all get older but it is knowing that if we do it our self that it is done right and the way we want it done, not like some guy who don't care about our cars. Good for you 65 vette dude.

I will be 71 this year. I drive a 66 BB couple of hundred miles a year. I still try to work on the car. I have been in the corvette world for 20 years.

I'll be 76 in August got my first Vette at 16, second one ( a 62) at 27,still have it. Also have a C5 and my wife says there have been 10 or 11 between the 62 and the C5.I've lost count, still smoke the tires now and then. Put about 2K on each car now.
