Who is the oldest member of the Forum who still owns and drives his Corvette? What year Corvette do you drive and how long have you been playing in the Corvette Hobby?? I will go first
I am 65 and drive the 54 Motorama Car and my 67 Coupe and a 64 Grand Sport Vert that is F/S and I have owned and played with Corvettes for about 25 years or darn close to it.
Don't be like a lady and afraid to tell your age.

Next month I will be 73 years old. I am the original owner of my '63 Vette so it has been 54 years. It is the only one that I have ever owned. I never had the desire to get a different one. Since 2007 we have averaged 14,000 miles per year.

I was 70 this month. I had originally planned on buying a new Corvette in 1966 (at that time owned a 65 Chevelle SS) I was drafted so the Corvette was put off until 2003 when I bought a near driver quality 62. Made it into a show car that I drive 4,500 miles a year. Then ordered a 2010 Grand Sport that I may drive 1,200 a year.

82 here. I've had my '62 for 42 years and last year I bought a C5 to keep it company ! You're never too old to enjoy a Vet.
Not too many years ago I had a friend (not Forum guy) who drove his '59 well into his 90's.

I thought an old fart like you would win this hands down, but you are still way young. Now go out and smoke the tires in that gasser!

I'm 72 and until last spring drove my 76, purchased new with 216000 miles. I sold the 76 and now drive my 66 numbers matching couple that I restored about 10 yours ago. This is an every day driver. I trust I'll live to put 216000 miles on this car, as well.

My Dad celebrated his 80th birthday a few years ago by purchasing a new C6 Corvette, He then drove it to his high school reunion across country from SoCal to Michigan-bragging that he smoked some kids in a Camaro out in the desert somewhere. He's still going strong and still driving the Corvette(he has a 65 as well that he is the second owner of).

I guess I'm a youngster in this group -- I'll be 70 in a couple of months. Had a '65 convertible that I kept for 24 years. Traded that for a '66 coupe that I've had for now for almost 20 years. A couple of years ago I bought a '96 Vette to keep the '66 company.

I am 70 and have owned my 66 for 47 years and am still driving 10,000 plus miles a year. 48 years if you count the 1961 I blew up in 1969!
