That will work fine for you with a small-block - get the molded plastic drip pan as well that fits on the bottom of the engine stand (contains the mess, easy clean-up).

Seems to me Schucks and others have had these on sale for like $99. The engine stands are $50 or so. I would definately try Tool Town and Harbor Freight tools also. Could save you around $100.

Both my engine hoist and engine stand are from Harbor Freight. Around $260 for both. They have served me well.

Northern Tools and Equipment has an engine puller for $199.00 which I am considering. I think that includes freight and it comes with a load-balancer.
Already bought an engine stand from Cummins Tools for about $50.

Save yourself alot of potential grief by buying your engine stand with 4 wheels rather than the old standard 3. Get it with more capacity than you will need.. I have had my big bloch tweek and collapse the stand. Also, the 3 wheel is unstable when you are moving the motor around the shop...The difference in price is well worth it. IMHO...
As John mentioned,, the plastic trays are worth their weight in gold, especially during dissassembly.
Also, That stand your looking at may be fine for your small block,, but I wouldnt put a big block with heads on it, I have had bad experiences with one just like that one, front wheels bent and came apart. Again, just my opinion..
