BG swap meet fans - set your modem to stun
Just got back from the Bloomington Gold swap meet area.
Need A-C? http://corvetteforum.net/classics/ma...a-c_set_up.jpg
need a trailer? http://corvetteforum.net/classics/ma.../bgtrailer.jpg
need a body? http://corvetteforum.net/classics/ma...ic7/bgbody.jpg
need a chassis? http://corvetteforum.net/classics/ma...65_chassis.jpg
need a Corvette? http://corvetteforum.net/classics/magicmachine/apic7/bg_for_sale.jpg
a 57 for sale - my wife likes the smile.. http://corvetteforum.net/classics/ma...57for_sale.jpg
the "perfect" 53 that was auctioned http://corvetteforum.net/classics/ma...gperfect53.jpg
a really customozed 53 http://corvetteforum.net/classics/ma...bgcustom53.jpg
I met a guy who bought a 66 roadster at the auction - paid over 40k - before auction charges and shipping to the east coast. I took a half hour to explain the controls to him. This included: how to turn on and control the A-C; how to make the antenna go up and down; how to get the headlamps up.....
He was a nice guy - but obviously had never been in a C2 before. I hope the car lives up to his dreams. I told him about the Corvette Forum. Maybe we'll see him here.

That trailer was offered a couple of weeks ago on Ebay. $1900 - no reserve and did not get a single bid. I thought it would have been scarfed up in a jiffy.
