4 Wheel Alignment with Weights ?
What is a - "4 wheel alignment with weights" ? I have heard of 4 wheel alignments, but not a "4 wheel alignment with weights."

BMW calls for weights being placed in seating positions, front and back, to mimic passengers for their alignment specs but I haven't heard of this for other cars. The idea is to align the car as it's likely to be driven rather than parked.

:iagree: I use 80 pounds of cat litter (no cats? - use sandbags, dog food, water jugs, tool box, etcetera) in the driver seat as an average of the weight differential between me and and empty seat or a passenger in the seat. I also use adjustable spring bolts with nylok nuts to set the ride height the same way. :lurk:

If you have a competition car it make sense or add weight to simulate the driver. If a street driven car - use curb weight - full fluids including fuel.
