new member needing help on my 66 vert, where do i put the 350 horse sticker for the valve covers, do i need one or two stickers thanks everyone.

You need two decals one for each valve cover.

Wait a sec guys.... I thought the 66 and 67 decals went on the air cleaner lid and were different. The picture above looks like the correct 65 and 65 SHP configuration.

I don't own a 66, so I am no expert, but we are talking about a SB, yes thay had the aircleaner 327 decal, but I am pretty sure it was set up like thi one:

'66 used only the decals on the valve covers (none on the air cleaner), and 67's only used the sticker on the air cleaner (none on the valve covers). :thumbs:

i know that the early '66 300's had 2 stickers on the valve cover, one "327" and one "300". i think the 350's just had one, the small horsepower sticker.

JohnZ is da man, and he dispenses the knowledge without chiding us who had it wrong (well, ok, I didn't have it completely wrong, nor completely right!) So that photo of a 66 350 engine bay, with the (1) "350" valve cover stickers and (2) "327" sticker on the air cleaner lid, was incorrect as the 66 SB 350 aircleaner lid should be free from such a decal.

just adding to my personal database of knowledge (like most of my knowledge, such has little worth outside of the world of the C2 Corvette . . . )
