Anyone know the buyer of the Corvette lot no. 718 sold at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale? It is listed as the ex Don Yenko ex golden goose racecar. I have a large collection of Yenko memorabilia and some parts to old Yenko racecars so am interested in contact with the new owner. Thanks

Joe, I watched that sale on TV and I think I recognized ther buyer.

He looked like the gentleman with lot of airline miles who advertises in the

back of the drivline .

He lives in our area.

We talked to the owner that sold the car down in the tent before he moved up to the main tent...he was hoping to get $150-200K for the car with all the docs, but it went for alot less.......that's what you get with a no reserve sign in the window! :cool:

Didn't that car go for around 80. If it's the buyer I'm thinking of we was entertaining to watch and was very excited when he won.

questions in the forum regarding this car, yes it was sold at Bar.Jack to a fellow in N.Y. The one who runs the add with airline miles.
it was restored by Bob Amantea & J.R. Amantea " the Corvette Kid"
to the configuration when it raced at Sebring . John Bushnell was one of the drivers.
It was the feature car at the Chevy Vette Fest a few years ago
Presently J.R. and Bob have it in custody for the owner.
