Default Adhesive for side pipe insulator attachment

Can anyone suggest a suitable adhesive for attaching the fiberglass insulation pieces to the aluminum heat shield extrusions? I am not sure what temperatures would be reached; 300-400F wouldn't surprise me for the curved section closest to the manifolds. Thanks in advance.

I think I can be of help.

I did this on my '67 shortly after I bought it.
I used a two-part glue called Epoxo-88. This was recommended to me by my mechanic.

It worked great. I removed the shield and cleaned off the old residue as well as I could and applied this product to the new insulation and inside of the shield.
The product is made here locally and sold in marine supply stores.
I'm sure that you can find something similar where you live.

If not let me know and I'll PM you the information.

Best of luck,

Pedro
