Default anyone connected with discovery Ch or Hot Rod TV??

I am going to start shortly on my 62 Corvette, I think it is a prime candidate for one of the quick build TV shows.
Im a Firefighter and I bought a fire damaged 62. I have always wanted a C1 and after serving a year in the middle east with the army reserve I didnt want to wait anymore and this is what I could afford.

I have collected or located a great deal of the replacement parts and have the car running.

The car is not that bad, but looks terrible, so it would make a big impact for TV.

I am experienced restoring old cars, I have restored many 57 chevies and a 67 Camaro. I have a team of firefighters and corvette geeks that are willing to help me with the build, as well as have the use of a local repair shop.

I am very serious about doing this, and honestly think it could be finished in time, it would be a little more real story than what is currently on TV.

A large show is in Worcester MA every July 4 weekend and that may be a good "goal" for the show.

If you can help me out or point me in the right direction, It would be greatly appreciated.

Default Discovery TV

I have a good friend who owns "scooter shooterz" custom motorcycle shop. Discovery channel was there filming a great biker build off last summer which will air first week of Jan, 05.( I think) Maybe I can get a phone # or something we'll see. Good luck with your project and Happy New year to all.

Lynn,
What an incredible job, a real "Phoenix". Even my 12 yr. old daughter's jaw dropped.
