Hello all! I am looking for a 283 block (3756519) for a 1960 car with a build date of Feb. 25, 1960. Prefer standard bore or a block that can be bored 030 over. Will appreciate any and all leads!

If you give up on the casting #/date, this is probably the nicest 283 you can find, and it is still available. I picked it up for a '60 I was hoping to buy, but didnt get it.

I have a (3756519) looks like the date may be 61?
Hot tanked painted and bored. Some rust in the bottom bores from sitting.
It will be reasonable priced.

They made hundreds of thousands of the blocks you're looking for. I just gave my neighbor what you're are looking for to use in his street rod. Going price for a standard/.030 bore block is around $100.
