I am looking for some auto trans parts for my 56. I need a shifter, corvette style tail housing for a powerglide, neutral safety switch and bracket, and associated linkage. Prefer good used parts, originality not an issue, just need good functionality. Any leads greatly appreciated.

FYI: This car is being turned into a rat rod, not being restored.

All difficult parts to find. Have you thought about using a cable operated shifter? You may be able to fab brackets and use what appears to be a stock shifter from the top.
