Default 1956 Intake Mani & Dual Carbs - Sold

I just pulled a 1956 Intake Manifold (3731394) with dual Carter Carbs (2419S & 2362S) off my 327 small block. It came with the car and runs. If I were keeping them, I'd do a rebuild on them and clean them well, but it got the car down the road fine. I decided to take the engine back to 1965 specs. This would be a great set for someone wanting to take a 56-7 283 back to original specs. Tags are still on the carbs. Comes with secondary linkage arm. Will also throw in original (I think) vent air cleaners...although they need some shining up.

sold

Interesting post. Parts advertised for sale. I ask for info about the parts. Get an email telling me info is coming. Then get an email telling me parts are sold. Never did get the info I asked for.

Maybe that is a good thing.

Sorry about that. I had 10 people asking different things about it, then had a person say "he'd take them now". He paid the asking price and used Paypal. No questions asked. First come, first serve. Didn't mean to offend anyone....

Hi Rowland,

I know its been awhile since you posted this,
I just found in my things an intake manifold with the same number. Duel 4s. Just curious what you sold it for? I am going to sell mine.

Thanks
Carey

Just my $0.02.

The expensive part of a 56 two four set up is the carbs. A decent set of carbs needing rebuild can easily go for $1500 plus.

A decent 394 intake is in the $300 range. Check recent Ebay sales, they show up all of the time in various conditions.

Good luck on your sale.
