Check with Brett Henderson.
It differs from the passenger car part if I recall.

Default hmmm.....

That one's impossible to find. I had one years ago and sold it (second biggest mistake of my life). I've talked to Brett and he has talked about repro'ing some, so try him. There was also someone here who claimed they actually did a repro stamped valve cover which had all the correct details and passed judging, don't know directly about it though. If you find an original VC, expect to pay in the 5K or more range....

Try Corvette Roy, too, he has west coast connections and been here a loooooooong time, so he might have a few leads for you, too.

I'd love to know if you HAD an original head or your found one???

There's talk here too about repro'ing a solid cast 53 head, but nothing concrete (or should I say iron) about it yet.

Not original 53 Corvette covers. Every once in a while I see one of the first covers that I made back in the early 90's. Not as good as I make them now though. The only drawback to those covers are the center hold downs. Not as correct as the ones I manufacture today.
