I mistakenly posted this in c3 section so if there are 2 threads sorry

I need a cheap hood gm or repop no matter I want to graft a cowl scoop onto it.

I have a gm 65 hood that has some damage to the area that the hinges bolt to essentially making my hood a skin with the latch points in the rear useable would buy a damaged hood to get the pcs I need to make a whole hood.

I saw in another hood post that many folks saw small block hoods at carlisle for 100 and less I would be glad to meet a seller of one of those hoods.

Here is a C2 hood that has a Scoop mounted but may fit what you need. I would take $ 100 plus shipping if it works for you.

certainly the right price range Harry however I think this is either a 63 or 64 hood I wanted to stick with one without the divits for lack of a better term but flip it over and see if the ribbing is good enough to make a hood between the two mine and yours and let me know if good I think we can cook something up thank you for the effort Mike

Mike - I've got two hoods, one an L88 style for 65-67 and another stock type for 66-67 (had provisions for the front emblem). I can E-mail pics if you want. I'm near Dallas so would need to ship them by bus or truck or whatever works. Let me know if you want more info, I'm not going to use either hood and they need to go.
