AFR's are great for performance build but overkill and too much money to drop on a worn engine, IMHO. Look at ProMaxx, much cheaper, good quality and you won't know the difference on a daily driver build.
If you were building a performance engine from scratch with a zero decked block, domed pistons for compression and a decent sized cam, AFR is a good choice. Dropping expensive heads on a work shortblock with stock cam and who knows how much deck clearance isn't the prudent way, IMHO.
