Does the mirror glass have a date code in the lower right corner? Something with a DMI or VACO with numbers on both sides of the letters? If so, what is the code? Dave

Dave, I am not sure but I can look tonight and get back to you ok. I remember something on the glass but honestly can't say without looking. It is in nice shape but does not have the day/night lever like my 67 does...

There wasn't any day/night option in 63/64.
Very early 63 mirrors had a rivet on each side of the swivel point and "Guide" stamped below the pivot. This type had no date code. The later design for 63 and all 64 has no rivets or "Guide" marking but does have the date code. Dave

That date would be July, 1962....DMI is the company Donnelly Mirror Inc.
Would have been too early for my purchase. Glad you sold it so quickly.

That's good info, however it did come off of a 63 SWC...
