F/S: Set of 4 American Racing Polished Aluminum Torq Thrust II Wheels and Tires
All,
I have decided to sell my set of 4 American Racing Polished Aluminum Torq Thrust II Wheels (AR-505s) and tires that I purchased for my '62 vette about a year ago. You can see the wheels and tires on my '62 in my avatar and the link to a forum picture at the bottom of the images. I am looking at getting a set of knock-offs for my '65.
Details:
4-15x7 American Racing polished aluminum torq thrust II wheels (AR-505s) with 5x4.50" bolt pattern and 3.75" backspacing, chrome lugnuts and American Racing centercaps included. This is a two piece wheel.
Tires are 215/70 R 15 General Altimax RT, Temperature rating-A, Traction rating-A, and Treadwear rating 600. The Altimax RT is a stylish touring tire that supplies a smooth, comfortable ride without compromising tread wear. I probably put 10 miles on the wheels and tires, so they look absolutely gorgeous-no curb rash, or scratches. You can see the tire tread in the pictures.

It's not hard to ship them... just get some cardboard and cut out four circles in the same diameter as the tires. Put one circle of cardboard on the outside of each wheel/tire to protect the wheel, then wrap it up with plastic shrink wrap. Take them to Fedex and send them Fedex Ground.

I'm interested in them too so I'll get in line behind vt65 and vetsvette2002.
You say the bolt pattern is 5x4.50". I would think these should be 5x4.75". Can you please confirm this? Also, what is the backspacing on these?

i've emailed John and we are working on a deal...should know soon, will let you know vetsvette2002 & 427390HP, i just bought a set from another forum member in Indianna but the tires are 205-65x15's and they look too small on my '65 so this is the best way 4 me to go, i'll sell mine once i get another set.
