Default F/S: 67 big block 427 motor complete engine

Original GM Chevy big block over the counter replacement motor (Stamped CE) for a 67 Corvette, Chevelle, Camaro, etc.
Installed many years ago this engine is still in my 66 Chevelle and in perfect running condition. Untouched standard bore. Great oil pressure. In my opinion it has never been apart since.
Per Chevy By The Numbers, this 4 bolt main high performance big block Chevy engine is correct for many Corvettes including 1967 big block 427 – 425 HP / 435 HP, also Chevelle and Camaro L78 – 375 horse cars.

Block Pad number: CE 852482 (No VIN number on pad)
Block casting number: 3916321
Block date code: I-2-7
Cylinder head casting numbers: 3904391
Cylinder head date codes: J-16-6 (Both)
Alum. intake casting number: 3963569 (which is correct for 70-71 454 Chevelle LS6 and 70 – 402C.I. Big block.)

The rear main seal has started to leak so I have decided to pull it out in order to install the correct engine. This engine can be heard running and is available for your appraiser to evaluate, take oil and coolant samples, etc.
If I do not sell it complete I may be willing to list it in pieces. E-mail any interest.
Please e-mail with questions or for photos to: pakmt@aol.com
Estimated shipping weight is 1050lbs., ships from 06492 via motor freight. Shipping can be estimated at www.freightquote.com
Local pick up is always welcome and preferred.

Sorry guys, forgot to add a price.
I'm asking $8500.00 for it. I based my asking price on another motor that sold locally, the guy said he got $6000 for a motor that was apart. I would really like to see this go to someone that has the right car for it. I have no use for it as I have the correct 396 for my car at the machine shop now.
Since I cannot document the complete history back to when it was installed in the car I can't say how many miles are on it.
Thanks for the interest.
Peter
