Default For Sale- 1963 Corvette 360hp FI RF 870 Short Block

I have a 1963 Corvette 327 RF code fuel injection short block (it has later model heads and an aftermarket intake manifold so just consider it a correct FI short block) for sale. The numbers are as follows:

Engine casting #: 3782870

Nice stamp pad deck as follows : 3105819 F1121 RF (K162 Build Date) November 1962

I purchased this engine along with a few other 327's so I do not have any history on this engine and it has not been run for awhile. I have since removed the oil pan and found that rod #1 has come loose at one time (this is how I purchased the engine, unknowingly) so plan on a rebuild and at least one rod and some crank work.

Please contact me for further information and I will be happy to send photos to anyone interested.

Asking $1,000 or nearest reasonable offer, shipping is the responsibility of the buyer from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73114.

Why are you selling it so cheap? Or maybe it's just a great deal!

I was hoping to reunite the engine with the car but as of now, I just need the room (plus I need to pay the paint and body guy while my Corvette is in for repair, Corvette parts for Corvette money !)

I understand, hope that fuelie engine finds its original owner and if not then a good home. Wish you luck, and post your Corvette progress photos.

Hey Tex, here's the numbers on the 340hp engine : 3105819 F1121 RF (K162 Build Date)

P.S. You shoulda' bid on the 360FI engine. I contacted the winner of the auction and his first question was "Hey, can you ship the engine to Italy ?" ..... I fear this auction is not quite finished ...
