Default F/S 1958 Head X58 770

I have one 1958 head. It has the X58 cast on the side. It is a 770 casting dated L 27 7. It has been on the shelf for 25 years. It definitely needs to be rebuilt.

I'll take $500.00 for it plus shipping from 92802.

Email me for pictures.

Mike

Hi there!

Do you know what the X58 means on these heads. What makes the 770 X58 FI heads different?

Are they only heads that will work?

Have you ever heard of a 739 X58 "Power pack" heads?

Thanks from a newbie!

Default 58 heads

The 770 head has different external casting markers. I se you are looking for 772 castings. I believe they are for passenger cars with the 2 bbl carb.

Thanks Mike,

Yes those 772's are regulars.

I found some info on some 3737739 for the 57-62 FI vette but i'm not so sure they have the X58 cast.

I believe the only ones that had the X58 were the 770's...thoughts?
