WTB 265 small block chevy
Looking for a rebuildable early small block 265 cu.in. engine. (short block or long block)
Hoping to find one in the North Midwest area.
The closer the engine is to standard bore the better.
Do not care what pad or casting numbers they are really. Just 265 SBC.
Casting numbers on block would be;
3703524 = 1955
3720991 = 1956-57
3731548 = 1957 (This block could be 265 or 283.)
265 cu.in. std bore size would be 3.750"
283 cu.in. std bore size would be 3.875"
Call (605)201-0687 all weekend or after 4pm weekdays.

You're in South Dakota? I'm in the giving mood, so I'll make your day if you can have somebody pick it up in Indiana. I have a bare 991, std bore block you can have for FREE! just for you. Merry Christmas!

Where in Indiana? Not sure yet how far I want to travel, but I will consider. May have some business in/near Chicago in the near future.
