Hope that you don't use the wire product to clean them. Many purists are looking for those, even dirty as long as it has that factory finish.

If you have to clean, try soda blasting or cleaner, but no metal.

Wire product; do you mean steel wool?
I used B-12 chem tool, some aluminum cleaner and a soft brush.
The steel wool was used to lightly clean some of the oxidation that as on the insides of the covers.

Also have big block covers--painted, chromed, and after-market.
Also have staggered hole finned covers (both low and high script)
Also have steel covers..

Default Valve cover

George what would be the best price you could offer me for the single valve cover. I might be able to use it.

Thanks
Jay
